ఉద్యమ స్ఫూర్తి Udyama Sphurti

గాంధీజీ దేశంలోని అన్ని వర్గాల వారిని ఒక్కటి చేశాడు. బ్రిటిషువారు దేశాన్ని పాలిస్తున్నా, ప్రజలు మాత్రం మనసులో గాంధీని ఆరాధించారు.

Gandhiji became the one guide for all sections of India. Though the British ruled the land, the people worshipped Gandhi in their hearts, which alarmed the imperialists.

సబర్మతి ఆశ్రమం నుండి దండియాత్ర మొదలైంది. 79 మంది దేశభక్తులు గాంధీతో నడిచారు. ఉప్పు మీద పన్ను తొలగే వరకు ఆశ్రమంలో అడుగుపెట్టనని గాంధీ ప్రతిజ్ఞ చేశాడు.

The Dandi march began from Sabarmati Ashram with 79 devoted patriots. Gandhi vowed not to set foot in the ashram until the salt tax was removed. The march ran 24 days, greeted by crowds all along the route.

To the non-violent workers, the revolutionaries' deeds seemed astonishing; they too were patriots whose goal was freedom, only their methods differed. The whole country grieved at the death sentences of Bhagat Singh and Sukhdev. While testing a bomb, it exploded and killed Bhagwat Chandar.

During the boycott of foreign cloth in Bombay, a merchant set out to sell foreign cloth from his car. When a young man lay across the road, the merchant drove over him and killed him. It later emerged the merchant had government backing.

మూర్షాబాద్‌ జైలులో మణిలాల్‌సేన్‌ అనే 17 ఏళ్ల బాలుడు, రాజకీయ ఖైదీలకు కల్తీ సరుకు ఇచ్చినందుకు 60 రోజులు నిరశన వ్రతం చేసి ప్రాణం కోల్పోయాడు.

In Murshidabad jail, a 17-year-old boy named Manilal Sen died after a 60-day hunger strike, protesting the adulterated food given to political prisoners, following Jatindranath's path. His death did not move the rulers.

మన స్వదేశ రాజులు పరస్పర కలహాలతో ఒక వర్తక సంఘానికి రాజ్యాన్ని అప్పగించడం వల్లే దేశం బానిసత్వంలోకి వెళ్లింది. బ్రిటిషువారు సంపదను దోచుకొని, దేశీయులను బానిసల్లా చూశారు.

Because our own kings, divided by internal feuds, handed the realm to a trading company, the British plundered all the wealth and treated Indians like slaves, while villagers languished in ignorance and famine.

స్వాతంత్ర్యం కేవలం హక్కుల కోసమే అనుకుంటున్నాం; బాధ్యతగా, కర్తవ్యంగా ప్రవర్తించడం కోసం కాదు అన్నట్లుంది. అందరూ తమ ఒక్కరి బాగు మాత్రమే చూసుకుంటే సమాజం వ్యాధిగ్రస్తమవుతుంది.

Freedom seems to have been gained only to protect rights, not for responsible conduct and duty. Leaders fail to inspire social and moral duty, and each person caring only for their own good has become a regrettable trend.
