These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Lipi© (the "Service"), available at lipi.study™. The Service is operated by 1EOR Global Private Limited, a company incorporated in India (CIN U72900KA2021FTC155564), with its registered office at Flat No. 306, 4th Block, SLVHM Signature Apartments, HBR Layout, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560043, India ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

Lipi© is a brand of 1EOR Global Private Limited. You can reach us at care@lipi.study for any question about these Terms or the Service.

2. The Service

Lipi© is an online learning service. It helps you:

  • learn and practise handwriting across many scripts,
  • study languages, including spoken-language ("speak") courses, and
  • prepare for school exams aligned to boards such as CBSE and ICSE.

A large amount of content is free. Every book or course offers a free first lesson or first chapter, and speak courses include a free trial period, so you can evaluate the content before you pay. Some features and courses require a paid subscription, as shown on the pricing page and at checkout.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You may use the free content without an account. To subscribe you sign in with your Google or Microsoft account; we use this only to identify your account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. The Service is intended for learners of all ages, including students. If you are a minor, an account should be created and managed by a parent or guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

4. Subscriptions, billing and auto-renewal

  • Monthly billing in advance. Paid plans are billed as a recurring monthly subscription, charged in advance for each month, at the price shown at checkout. Applicable taxes (such as GST) are added as shown.
  • Auto-renewal. Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorise us and our payment partners to charge your selected payment method for each renewal.
  • Payment processing. Payments are handled by our payment partners: Razorpay for customers in India (UPI, debit or credit card, net banking and other methods shown at checkout) and Stripe for international customers. We do not collect or store your full card details on our servers.
  • Price changes. We may change prices. Any change applies from your next billing cycle and we will give you reasonable notice.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from your account or by emailing care@lipi.study. Cancellation stops future renewals. Your access continues until the end of the month you have already paid for. Because every course offers free content to evaluate first, monthly payments are not refundable. Please read our Refund & Cancellation Policy for full details, including the limited cases (such as a duplicate charge) where a refund may apply.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:

  • attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems;
  • share, resell, or provide access to your subscription to others;
  • scrape, copy, or extract content in bulk; or
  • use the Service in any way that breaks applicable law.

7. Intellectual property

All content on the Service, including lessons, chapter explanations, exercises, audio narration, text, graphics, software, and the Lipi© name and logo, is owned by 1EOR Global Private Limited or its licensors and is protected by law. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access the content for your own learning. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the content without our prior written permission.

8. Content and accuracy

Learning content is provided to help you study and may contain imperfections. It is not a substitute for professional instruction or formal qualification. If you spot a mistake, please tell us through the feedback page and we will look into it.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet any particular learning outcome.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 1EOR Global Private Limited will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any rights you have under applicable consumer law, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
