Refund & Cancellation Policy
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to paid subscriptions for Lipi (lipi.study), operated by 1EOR Global. Payments are processed through our secure payment gateway via UPI, debit/credit card, net banking, or other supported methods shown at checkout.
1. Free content
Letters and words in every script are free. No payment or refund applies to free practice features.
2. Paid subscriptions (Pro)
Pro unlocks sentence practice and related premium features. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly, or as shown at checkout) until cancelled.
3. Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account or by emailing hello@lipi.study.
- After cancellation, Pro access continues until the end of the current paid billing period. No further charges are made unless you resubscribe.
- Cancelling does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current billing period unless you qualify under Section 4 below.
4. Refund eligibility
Refunds may be issued by 1EOR Global in the following cases:
- Failed or duplicate payment: if our payment gateway confirms the transaction failed but your account was debited, or you were charged twice for the same period.
- Service not delivered: if you paid for Pro but could not access paid features due to a fault on our side, and we cannot resolve it within 7 days of your report.
- First subscription within 7 days: if this is your first Pro payment and you request a refund within 7 calendar days of the charge, provided you have not substantially used sentence practice during that period.
Refunds are not provided for:
- Change of mind after the 7-day first-subscription window (Section 4).
- Partial use of a billing period after that window.
- Issues caused by your device, browser, or internet connection.
- Violation of our Terms of Service.
5. How to request a refund
- Email hello@lipi.study with subject line Refund Request.
- Include your registered email, date of payment, approximate amount, and your bank or payment transaction reference (UTR or transaction ID).
- Briefly describe the reason for your request.
We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and review it within 5 business days.
6. Refund mode and processing time
- Mode: approved refunds are routed back to the original payment source (same card, UPI ID, or bank account used at checkout). Our payment gateway and your bank process the credit - we do not offer cash refunds unless required by applicable law.
- Time frame: after approval, refunds typically reflect in your account within 5 to 21 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider. Net-banking refunds to certain banks may take longer.
- Amount: the refund will not exceed the amount paid for the disputed transaction (including applicable taxes shown on the invoice).
7. Failed transactions
If a payment fails at checkout but your bank shows a debit, the amount is usually auto-reversed by your bank within 5 to 7 business days. If it is not, contact us with your transaction details and we will coordinate with our payment gateway to initiate a refund where applicable.
8. Refund time limit
Refunds cannot be initiated more than 180 days after the original transaction date.
9. Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your bank instead of contacting us first, the bank’s chargeback process applies. We encourage you to email us first so we can resolve issues faster.
