முத்துக்குமாரசாமி பிள்ளைத்தமிழ் Muthukumaraswamy Pillaithamizh

செங்கீரைச் செடி காற்றில் ஆடுவது போல, 5 முதல் 6 மாதக் குழந்தையின் தலை மென்மையாக அசையும். இந்தப் பருவத்தைச் செங்கீரைப் பருவம் என்பர். குழந்தை இருகையை ஊன்றி, ஒரு காலை மடக்கி, மற்றொரு காலை நீட்டி, தலைநிமிர்ந்து முகம் அசைத்து ஆடும்.

Just as the cengkiirai plant sways in the breeze, a baby's head moves softly around five to six months of age; this stage is called the cengkiirai stage, where the child props itself on both hands, folds one leg, stretches the other, lifts its head and sways its face.

திருவடியில் அணிந்த சிறிய செம்பொன் கிண்கிணிகளும் சிலம்புகளும் சேர்ந்து ஒலித்து ஆடட்டும். இடையில் அரைஞாண் மணியோடு ஒளிவீசும் அரைவடங்கள் ஆடட்டும்.

Let the small pure-gold tinkling bells and anklets worn on the holy feet ring together and sway; let the waist-cord with its bell and the gleaming waist-chains move along at the hip.

பசும்பொன் போல ஒளிரும் சிறிய வயிறு (தொந்தி) சரிந்து ஆடட்டும். பட்டம் கட்டிய நெற்றியில் விளங்கும் பொட்டோடு வட்டவடிவான சுட்டியும் பதிந்து ஆடட்டும்.

Let the little belly that shines like fine gold sway gently; on the brow that bears its band, let the round forehead-jewel set with its dot move along.

பொன்னால் உருவான குண்டலங்களும் காதின் குழைகளும் அசைந்து ஆடட்டும். தலையில் கட்டிய சூழியும் உச்சிக் கொண்டையும், அதில் சுற்றிய முத்துக்களும் சேர்ந்து ஆடட்டும்.

Let the golden ear-ornaments and the ear-rolls sway; let the head-crest, the topknot bound at the crown, and the bright pearls wound around it all move together.

அழகிய பவளம் போன்ற திருமேனியும் ஆட, தொன்மையான வைத்தியநாதபுரியில் எழுந்தருளிய முருகனே, செங்கீரை ஆடி அருள்வாய்!
