Summary
காற்றே, வா. பூக்களின் மகரந்தத் தூளைச் சுமந்துகொண்டு, மனத்தை மயக்கும் இனிய வாசனையோடு வா. இலைகளின் மீதும் நீர் அலைகளின் மீதும் உராய்ந்து, மிகுந்த உயிர்வளியை எங்களுக்குக் கொண்டு வா.
Come, O wind. Come bearing the pollen dust, with the sweet fragrance that enchants the mind; brushing over leaves and over the ripples of water, bring us abundant life-essence.
காற்றே, வா. எங்கள் உயிர் என்னும் நெருப்பு நீண்ட நாள் நின்று நல்ல ஒளி தரும்படி நன்றாக வீசு. ஆனால் வலிமை குறைந்து அந்த நெருப்பை அணைத்துவிடாதே; பேய் போல் அடித்து அதை மடித்துவிடாதே. மிதமாக, நல்ல லயத்துடன், நெடுங்காலம் நின்று வீசிக்கொண்டிரு.
Come, O wind. Blow well so that the fire of our life endures and gives good light. Do not weaken and put it out; do not blow like a demon and crush it. Blow on moderately, with good rhythm, standing for a long age.
காற்றே, உனக்காகப் பாட்டுகள் பாடுகிறோம்; உன்னைப் புகழ்ந்து பேசுகிறோம்; உன்னை வழிபடுகிறோம்.
