ਸਕੂਲ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ School Life

ਮੈਂ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਅੱਠ ਵਜੇ ਬੱਸ ਨਾਲ ਸਕੂਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਪਸੰਦ ਹੈ।

My school is in the city. Every day I leave home at eight in the morning and take the bus to school. We study many subjects such as maths, science, English and Punjabi. I like Punjabi the most because I want to stay connected to my mother tongue. Our teachers are very hardworking and help every student.

ਲੰਚ ਸਮੇਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਦੋਸਤ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਖਾਂਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਪੜ੍ਹਦੇ ਹਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਮਤਭੇਦ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਨਾਲ ਹੱਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ।

I have many friends at school. At lunchtime we sit together, eat and have a laugh. Sometimes we study in a group which is very useful. But sometimes there are disagreements with classmates too. We always resolve issues by talking to each other. Teamwork at school is very important.

ਇਮਤਿਹਾਨ ਔਖੇ ਲੱਗਦੇ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਬਣਨ ਲਈ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਅਤੇ ਲਗਨ ਨਾਲ ਪੜ੍ਹਦਾ ਹਾਂ।

Studying at school sometimes feels difficult, especially when exams are near. Every day I come home and study for two hours. My dream is to become a doctor, so I want to get good marks in science. My teachers say that hard work is never wasted. I believe that if I try with dedication, I will definitely succeed.

ਸਕੂਲ ਦੇ ਨਿਯਮ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਅਨੁਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

Our school has some strict rules. We have to arrive on time and wearing a uniform is compulsory. Many students think these rules are hard, but I feel that discipline is good for us. Rules make us responsible and keep the school environment calm. Using phones in class is forbidden so that we can focus on our studies.

ਜੀ.ਸੀ.ਐੱਸ.ਈ. ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਮੈਂ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਪੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਬਣਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।

When I finish my GCSEs, I want to go to college. There I will choose science subjects because I am interested in studying medicine. My parents give me their full support and my teachers give me good advice. I know that the road ahead will not be easy, but I will make every possible effort to achieve my dream.
