ਸਾਡਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਅਤੇ ਖੇਤਰ Our Town and Local Area

ਮੈਂ ਬਰਮਿੰਘਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹਾਂ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਦੁਕਾਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਰਕ ਹਨ।

I live in Birmingham. It is a large and lively city. There are many shops, restaurants and parks here. In the centre of the city there is a big market where people come to shop. I really like the facilities here because everything is nearby.

ਇੱਥੇ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਸਕੂਲ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਸਾਈਕਲ ਤੇ ਸਕੂਲ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹਾਂ।

In our area there is a hospital, a library and several schools. Buses and trains run regularly, so getting from one place to another is easy. However, traffic jams during rush hour are a very frustrating problem. I usually cycle to school because it is fast and healthy.

ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਪਸੰਦ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਇੱਥੇ ਪ੍ਰਦੂਸ਼ਣ ਅਤੇ ਰੌਲਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੈ।

I like living in my city because there is so much to do here. But I think there is too much pollution and noise here. In the future, I would like to live in a smaller town where there is peace and greenery. Still, for now this city is my home and I love it.

ਸ਼ਨੀਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਦੋਸਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਘੁੰਮਣ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹਾਂ।

On Saturdays I go to the city centre with my friends. First we wander around the market and then we sit in a café and chat. Sometimes we also go to the cinema. I really enjoy this day because I relax and enjoy the liveliness of my area.
