अनाथांचा नाथ Anathancha Nath (The Lord of the Orphaned)

संत निर्मळा परमेश्वराला 'अनाथांचा नाथ' व 'कृपावंत देव' म्हणतात आणि रात्रंदिवस त्याची सेवा आपल्या हातून घडावी, अशी इच्छा व्यक्त करतात.

At the very start of the abhang, Sant Nirmala addresses God as 'the Lord of the orphaned' - the refuge of those who have no support - and as 'the gracious God.' She expresses her wish that His service may be performed by her hands ceaselessly, day and night. This clearly reveals her boundless faith and devoted, service-oriented spirit.

संत निर्मळा सांगतात, पांडुरंग अठ्ठावीस युगांपासून विटेवर उभा आहे आणि त्याच्या डाव्या बाजूला रुक्मिणीदेवी शोभून दिसते.

In the following lines, Sant Nirmala describes the form of Panduranga - he has stood steadfastly upon a brick for twenty-eight ages, with Rukmini Devi adorning his left side. These lines devotionally capture the traditional iconic form of Vitthal-Rukmini worshipped at Pandharpur.

संत निर्मळा सांगतात, पांडुरंगाची 'पतित पावन' म्हणजे पाप्यांनाही पवित्र करणारा अशी ख्याती आहे. आपली एकमेव इच्छा (आळी/हट्ट) त्याने पुरवावी, अशी विनवणी त्या करतात.

Sant Nirmala says that Panduranga's fame as 'patit pavan' - the redeemer who purifies even the fallen and the sinful - resounds everywhere. She earnestly pleads that he fulfil her one and only wish (her insistent longing) - that his ceaseless service be granted to her.

अभंगाच्या शेवटी संत निर्मळा स्वतःला 'चोखोबांची बहीण' म्हणून ओळख देतात आणि विटेवर उभ्या असलेल्या पांडुरंगाजवळ आपली भावना व्यक्त करतात.

In the final lines of the abhang, Sant Nirmala identifies herself as 'Chokhoba's sister.' She voices her heartfelt plea before Panduranga, who stands with his feet resting upon the brick. This closing self-reference reflects the traditional practice in Warkari abhangs of the poet naming themselves at the end, while also acknowledging her family identity as the sister of Sant Chokhamela.
