प्रभात Dawn

कविता सुरू होते तेव्हा कवी सांगतात की नव्या युगाच्या आकाशात ज्ञानाचा प्रकाश पसरला आहे, आणि यामुळे कलागुणांच्या क्षितिजावर एक नवी 'प्रतिभेची पहाट' उगवत आहे.

The poem opens with the poet painting a picture of the new age - the glow of knowledge has spread across the new sky, and because of this, a fresh 'dawn of talent' is rising on the horizon of creativity. This line about the dawn of talent recurs like a refrain after every stanza.

दुसऱ्या कडव्यात कवी शाळेच्या किंवा जगाच्या सुंदर, प्रशस्त वातावरणाचे वर्णन करतात - मोठे मैदान, सुंदर बाग, पक्षी-फुलांचे सुंदर जग, आणि सर्वत्र पसरलेली आपुलकीची भावना. गुरुजनांची शिकवण या स्पर्धेच्या युगात अमूल्य आहे, असे कवी म्हणतात.

In the second stanza the poet describes a warm, reassuring setting - a grand playground, a lovely garden, a beautiful world of birds and flowers, and a fragrance of togetherness spreading through everyone's hearts. He also notes how, in this age of competition, the teaching of one's gurus is invaluable, before the refrain about the dawn of talent returns.

तिसऱ्या कडव्यात कवी सांगतात की शाळा किंवा हे वातावरण म्हणजे व्यक्तिमत्त्वाच्या जडणघडणीची प्रयोगशाळा आहे, जिथे शरीर सुदृढ आणि मन विशाल बनते. हे उदात्त विचार प्रत्येकाच्या नसानसांत भिनलेले असतात.

In this stanza the poet says this environment is, in effect, a laboratory that lays the foundation of one's own existence and shapes one's personality - a place where the body grows strong and the mind grows broad. He notes that such a noble way of thinking runs through everyone's veins and bloodstream.

शेवटच्या कडव्यात कवी नव्या पिढीला नवी स्वप्ने, नवी आशा बाळगण्याचे आणि परिश्रम व अभ्यासाने देशाला प्रगत करण्याचे आवाहन करतात. सर्व भेद विसरून मानवतेच्या युगात एकत्र येण्याचा संदेशही ते देतात.

In the final stanza the poet urges the new generation to dream new dreams and hold new hopes - this, he says, is the new definition of progress. He closes the poem with a heartfelt call to build the nation through hard work and study, and to set aside every difference and unite in this age of humanity.

'कलागुणांच्या क्षितिजावरती ही प्रतिभेची प्रभात' ही ओळ कवितेत ध्रुवपदासारखी सतत परत येते. यातून कवीला सुचवायचे आहे की नव्या युगात प्रत्येकाच्या कलागुणांना उजाळा देणारी एक नवी, आशादायक पहाट उगवते आहे.

Throughout the poem, the line 'on the horizon of talent rises this dawn of genius' returns after every stanza, and through this refrain the poem's title and central symbol become clear. 'Dawn' here does not mean simply morning, but symbolically a new daybreak of talent, creativity and hope rising in this new age, which is the deeper meaning the poet is pointing to.
