संतवाणी - योगी सर्वकाळ सुखदाता Sant Eknath - The Yogi Who Always Gives Joy

ज्याप्रमाणे चकोर चंद्रकिरणे जगतो, पक्षी पिल्लांना पंख देतो, पाणी जीवांना जगवते - तसा योगी सर्वांना मृदुत्व देतो.

As the chakor lives on moonbeams, as a bird shelters its young with its wings, as water gives life to beings - so the yogi gives tenderness to all.

पाणी वरचा मळ धुते; योगी लोकांचे मन आतून-बाहेरून शुद्ध करतो. पाणी एक वेळ सुख देते; योगी सर्वकाळ सुखदाता.

Water washes away surface dirt; the yogi purifies people inside and out. Water gives comfort once; the yogi is forever the giver of joy.

पाण्याने तहान भागवली की पुन्हा तहान लागते. योगी स्वानंदतृप्ती देतो - सुखात विकृती नाही.

The pleasure of water lasts only a moment; thirst returns. The yogi grants self-bliss - joy without deterioration.

पाण्याची गोडी फक्त जिभेला. योग्याचे गोडपण सर्व इंद्रियांना संतुष्ट करते.

Water's sweetness reaches only the tongue; the yogi's sweetness soothes all the senses.

ढगातून पाऊस पडून अन्नधान्य मिळते. योगी जन्म घेतो तेव्हा श्रवणकीर्तनाने लोकांचा उद्धार होतो.

Rain from clouds feeds all with grain; likewise when a yogi is born in this world, people are uplifted through listening and kirtan and self-knowledge.
