Summary
सूर्य अस्त होताना विचार करतो - मी गेल्यानंतर पृथ्वी अंधारात बुडेल का? विश्वाचे चैतन्य संपेल का?
When the sun rises the earth glows. As it sets it fears - will the earth sink into darkness after I go? Will life's cycle stop?
साधी मातीची पणती पुढे येते. तिच्याकडे सूर्याइतका प्रकाश नाही, पण जमेल तेवढा अंधार दूर करण्याचा प्रयत्न करीन म्हणते.
The lamp says - I do not have your blazing light, but I will try to dispel darkness on this earth. It dares to answer the sun's plea.
पणतीच्या प्रकाशाने सर्व अंधार जरी जात नाही, तरी दहा पावलांची वाट नक्की उजळू शकते - हा विश्वास कवितेत आहे.
The lamp's light may not remove all darkness, but it can surely light ten steps of the path. Use what you have for positive work.
सूर्य मानवाच्या विकासामुळे पृथ्वीची चिंता करतो; पणती म्हणते मानव आता जागरूक झाला आहे - पर्यावरणाची चळवळ जोर धरत आहे.
The sun worries humans have harmed the earth in the name of progress; the lamp is hopeful - people are now working for the environment.
प्रत्येकाने 'जगा आणि जगू द्या' हा निसर्गाचा नियम पाळावा; मग सृष्टी निर्मळ राहील - हा संदेश.
If everyone follows the rule 'live and let live', life's cycle will continue and creation will stay pure.
