तू बुद्धी दे Give Me Wisdom

हे देवा, तू मला बुद्धी दे, तेज दे, नवचेतना जागवण्यासाठी विश्वास दे. जे सत्य आणि सुंदर आहे, त्याचा ध्यास माझ्या मनात आयुष्यभर राहू दे.

The poet prays: give me wisdom, give me light, give me faith to awaken new inspiration. Let an intense longing for whatever is true, beautiful and eternal stay in my mind for life.

ज्यांचे कोणी नाही, त्यांचा तू सोबती बन. ज्यांना मार्ग सापडत नाही, त्यांचा सारथी बन. तुझी साधना करणाऱ्यांना तुझा सहवास दे.

Be companion to those without shelter; be charioteer to those who have lost their way; grant your constant presence to those who worship you.

दुर्बलांचे दुःख जाणून घेण्यासाठी माझ्या रंध्रांत संवेदना जागी ठेव. माझ्या शब्दांna आणि जगण्याला अर्थ दे.

Keep sensation alive in the pores of my body to understand the pain of the weak. Let the desire to end suffering flow in my blood. Give meaning to these words and to my life.

मला चांगला मार्ग, चांगली बुद्धी आणि चांगल्या माणसांची संगत मिळू दे. संकटातही नीती भ्रष्ट होऊ नये. नव्या उंचीवर झेप मारण्यासाठी बळ दे.

Grant me the right path, good thoughts and good company. Let my conduct never be corrupted in adversity. Give strength to soar to new heights while upholding truth and sensitivity.
