१६. स्वप्न करू साकार (कविता) Swapna Karu Sakar (Let Us Turn the Dream into Reality) - a poem

कवी म्हणतो, या देशाच्या मातीवर आपला हक्क आहे. नव्या पिढीने नव्या युगाचे स्वप्न प्रत्यक्षात आणले पाहिजे, असा संकल्प कवी व्यक्त करतो. ही ओळ पूर्ण कवितेत ध्रुवपदासारखी पुन:पुन्हा येते.

At the very start the poet says this land, this soil of the nation, belongs to us by right. He calls on the new generation to turn the dream of a new age into reality. This line runs through the whole poem like a refrain, underlining the central message: the responsibility of shaping the nation's future rests on the new generation.

फुला-फळांतून श्रावण महिना हसतो आणि मातीचे मन प्रसन्न होते, असे कवी सांगतो. चैतन्याचा प्रकाश सगळीकडे पसरतो. शेतातून आपण मोत्यांसारखे धान्य पिकवू आणि खूप संपत्ती मिळवू, असा विश्वास कवी व्यक्त करतो.

In the second stanza the poet paints a picture of prosperity blossoming from agriculture. Through flowers and fruit the month of Shravan seems to smile, and the earth's heart turns joyful and blessed, he says. The light of vitality moves everywhere. From the fields, he says, we shall grow grain like pearls, meaning boundless wealth. This stanza expresses an optimistic faith in the importance of farming and the prosperity it brings.

याच हातांनी यंत्रे चालतात आणि श्रमाचे सामर्थ्य बोलू लागते, असे कवी सांगतो. उद्योगाचे चाक फिरत राहते. आभाळावर उत्क्रांतीचा जयजयकार आपण घुमवू, असे कवी म्हणतो.

In the third stanza the poet glorifies the power of labour and industry. He says these very hands make machines move, meaning it is the strength of labour that drives machines, and the mantra of labour-power begins to speak. The wheel of industry keeps turning. He resolves that we shall make the call of progress resound across the sky. This underlines the dignity of labour and the importance of industrial progress.

आपण सगळे हजारो असूनही एकीने बळकट आहोत, सर्वांची शक्ती एकत्र आहे, असे कवी सांगतो. प्रत्येक घरातून एक नवे तेज, नवा अवतार जन्म घेतो आहे, असे तो म्हणतो.

In the fourth stanza the poet describes the strength of unity. Though we are thousands, he says, we are strong because we are united, and everyone's fist is one and the same. The drum of strength keeps sounding. From every home a new radiance, a new incarnation is being born, says the poet, expressing hope that a new generation with new resolve will rise from every household.

या विश्वाची संपत्ती आपण लाख वेळा जपू आणि वाढवू, असे कवी म्हणतो. सगळ्यांचा एकच हात कल्याणासाठी उभा राहावा, अशी इच्छा तो व्यक्त करतो. देशाचे भविष्य उज्ज्वल करण्यासाठी आपण जयजयकार करूया, असे सांगून कविता संपते.

In the final stanza the poet resolves to preserve and multiply the wealth of this world, vowing to protect and grow it a hundred thousandfold. He wishes that one benevolent hand of all people should come together. The poem ends with a call to unite and cheer for making the nation's future bright. This stanza carries the message that everyone must work together for the country's prosperity.
