Sun as son cradled at dawn; evening sun as maiden with golden cloth going to pray.

രത്നപെട്ടികളും പത്തായങ്ങളും നിറഞ്ഞ ആകാശം - അമ്മയില്ല.

Sky like a tray of jewels prepared for farmers - still no mother found.

മാണിക്യമാലയും അരഞ്ഞാണവും - അമ്മയുടെ ആഭരണം.

Rainbow as ruby garland, lightning as diamond - peacock song as lullaby, stream as whisper.

എല്ലായിടത്തും കാൽപ്പാട്; മുഖം മാത്രം കാണാനില്ല.

Earth is nature-mother - signs everywhere, direct vision denied.

വനനശീകരണം, ആഗോളതാപനം - പ്രകൃതിഭംഗി നഷ്ടം.

Deforestation and warming erase beauty - warning to future generations.
