ഖൽബിലെ നിലാവ് Khalbile Nilavu - Moonlight in the Heart

1953-ൽ 'ഇത് ഭൂമിയാണ്' നാടകത്തിനായി കെ. ടി. മുഹമ്മദ് എഴുതി; കെ. രാഘവൻ സംഗീതം. പിന്നീട് 'ബാല്യകാലസഖി' സിനിമയിൽ വലിയ ഹിറ്റായി.

The song comes from K.T. Muhammed's 1953 play 'Ithu Bhoomiyanu', with K. Raghavan's music. The 2014 film Balyakalasakhi made it widely popular again.

'താമരപ്പൂങ്കാവനത്തിൽ താമസിക്കുന്നോളേ…' - നായകൻ താമരക്കുളത്തിനരികിൽ നായികയെ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു. കാൽ തരിച്ച് പോയി; കണ്ണ് കൊതിക്കുന്നു.

The hero waits by a lotus pond full of beautiful blooms for the heroine who 'lives in the lotus grove'. His feet are weary from waiting; his eyes ache to see her.
