About the author
Felicia Robinson retells a classic West African folktale about Anansi the spider, one of the great trickster figures brought to the Americas by enslaved peoples. In Ashanti and Akan tradition, Anansi is clever, selfish, and comic - a small creature who outwits larger animals. The story explains why all tales belong to him.
