Refrain: Just as a boat cannot cross the river by fearing waves, one cannot succeed in life by fearing difficulties. Those who keep trying never lose.

नन्हीं चींटी दाना लेकर सौ बार दीवार पर चढ़ती-गिरती है, पर मेहनत बेकार नहीं जाती।

Stanza 2: The tiny ant carrying a grain slips off the wall a hundred times, but keeps climbing. Its faith fills its veins with courage. Falling while climbing, and climbing after falling, does not bother it. Finally its effort is never wasted.

गोताखोर सिंधु में बार-बार डुबकी लगाता है, खाली हाथ लौटता है, पर अंत में मोती मिलते हैं।

Stanza 3: A diver plunges into the ocean again and again, returning empty-handed each time. Pearls are not found easily in deep water, but each failed attempt doubles his enthusiasm. Finally his fist is not empty every time.

असफलता को चुनौती मानकर कमियाँ सुधारो, संघर्ष से मत भागो - कुछ किए बिना जय-जयकार नहीं होती।

Stanza 4: Treat failure as a challenge - accept it, find your shortcomings and improve. Do not abandon the field of struggle. Victory is not won without effort. Those who keep trying never lose.
