સાહિત્ય સાથે વ્યાકરણમાં સંધિ, સમાસ, કારક, કાળ, શબ્દભેદ, રૂઢિપ્રયોગ આવે છે - આ ગોખવાનું નથી, નિયમ + અભ્યાસ છે.

CBSE ગુજરાતી ધોરણ 9 - વ્યાકરણમાં લગભગ 12 ગુણ. સંધિ વિચ્છેદ, સમાસ નામ, કારક ચિહ્ન, કાળ, લિંગ-વચન, રૂઢિપ્રયોગ.

Class 9 grammar carries about 12 marks across the standard topics.

ગુજરાતીમાં ત્રણ લિંગ છે - પુલ્લિંગ (છોકરો), સ્ત્રીલિંગ (છોકરી), નપુંસકલિંગ (છોકરું, ઘર, પાણી). વિશેષણ-ક્રિયા લિંગ પ્રમાણે બદલાય - સારો છોકરો, સારી છોકરી, સારું છોકરું.

Gujarati has THREE genders incl. neuter; adjectives and verbs agree: saaro chhokro, saari chhokri, saarun chhokrun.

સંધિ: બે અક્ષર/શબ્દ મળીને એક (દેવ + આલય = દેવાલય). સમાસ: બે પદ મળીને એક - દ્વંદ્વ, તત્પુરુષ, કર્મધારય, દ્વિગુ, બહુવ્રીહિ, અવ્યયીભાવ. પહેલાં વિચ્છેદ કરો, પછી નામ આપો.

Sandhi joins sounds; samaas joins words. Break the word first, then name the rule or samaas type.

ગુજરાતી નામયોગી (postposition) વાપરે - નામની પાછળ ને, થી, માં, માટે. ભૂતકાળમાં સકર્મક ક્રિયા સાથે કર્તાને -એ લાગે અને ક્રિયા કર્મ પ્રમાણે ચાલે: રામે રોટલી ખાધી.

Gujarati uses postpositions after the noun. Past transitive verbs take ergative -e on the subject and agree with the object: Raame rotli khaadhi.

આઠ શબ્દભેદ - સંજ્ઞા, સર્વનામ, વિશેષણ, ક્રિયાપદ, ક્રિયાવિશેષણ, નામયોગી, સંયોજક, ઉદ્ગાર. રૂઢિપ્રયોગ: આંખ આડા કાન કરવા = જાણીજોઈને અવગણવું.
