पंचतत्वों की कहानी Story of the Five Elements

बहुत पहले की बात है जब आकाश, वायु, अग्नि, जल और पृथ्वी - ये पाँचों तत्व आपस में लड़ने लगे। हर एक कहता था - मैं सबसे जरूरी हूँ। इस झगड़े से पूरी सृष्टि में अशांति छा गई।

At the beginning of creation, the five elements - sky, air, fire, water, and earth - each began claiming to be the most important. Every element argued that the world could not exist without it. This dispute grew so serious that the balance of creation began to break down.

वायु ने जोरदार आँधी चलाई और पेड़ गिरा दिए। अग्नि ने जंगल जला दिए। दोनों को लगा हम सबसे ताकतवर हैं। लेकिन जब दोनों ने मिलकर काम करना बंद किया, तो जीव-जंतुओं को बहुत कष्ट होने लगा।

Wind displayed its might by blowing a fierce storm, uprooting trees, and raising waves in the ocean. Fire spread wildfire through forests and declared that without its energy no food would be cooked and no light would exist. Both became so proud of their power that they stopped cooperating with each other.

वायु और अग्नि के झगड़े का असर जल और पृथ्वी पर भी पड़ा। बारिश बंद हो गई, नदियाँ सूख गईं और खेतों में कुछ नहीं उगा। इंसान, जानवर सभी परेशान हो गए। सब तरफ तबाही दिखने लगी।

When air and fire stopped cooperating, water too changed course - rainfall stopped and rivers began to dry up. Earth stopped producing crops. Drought and decay spread everywhere. Animals, birds, and humans were all distressed. It was a terrible crisis of nature.

आकाश ने सभी तत्वों को बुलाया और समझाया। उसने कहा - अकेले कोई नहीं जी सकता, हमें मिलकर रहना होगा। वायु बिना सांस नहीं, पानी बिना जिंदगी नहीं, आग बिना खाना नहीं, मिट्टी बिना घर नहीं। सभी ने यह बात मान ली।

Sky, the calmest and most expansive element, gathered everyone together. It said that no single element is complete on its own - life is only possible when all five work together. Sky explained the indispensability of each element: without air no breath, without fire no energy, without water no life, without earth no foundation.

सभी तत्वों ने मिलकर काम किया। हवा ने बादल लाए, पानी बरसा, धरती हरी हो गई, आग से गर्मी मिली। सब तरफ फिर से जीवन लहलहा उठा। इस कहानी से सीख मिलती है कि मिलकर काम करने में ही असली ताकत है।

The five elements, accepting sky's words, began working together again. Wind brought clouds, fire gave the sun's warmth, water rained down and nourished the earth, and earth produced green crops. Life blossomed again and balance returned to creation. The lesson of this story is that true strength lies in mutual cooperation.
