अमर ज्योति को बचपन में ही पोलियो हो गया था, जिससे उनके पाँव काम नहीं करते थे। लोग उन्हें कमज़ोर समझते थे, लेकिन उनके मन में आगे बढ़ने की बहुत इच्छा थी। उनके परिवार ने उन्हें प्यार और हिम्मत दी और पढ़ाई करवाई।

Amar Jyoti was born into an ordinary family, but in her infancy, polio affected her, causing her legs to stop functioning. In society's eyes, she was a helpless girl, but within her the flame of the will to live burned bright. Her family did not let her courage break and resolved to educate her.

अमर ज्योति बैसाखी लेकर स्कूल जाती थीं। कभी-कभी लोग उन पर तरस खाते या मज़ाक उड़ाते, लेकिन उन्होंने हार नहीं मानी। हर मुश्किल में उनका हौसला बढ़ता ही गया और वे पढ़ाई में अच्छा करती रहीं।

Amar Jyoti received education in school while facing many difficulties. She went to school on crutches and a wheelchair, where she also faced society's indifferent attitude. Amid all these obstacles her self-confidence never wavered; rather, every challenge made her stronger.

पढ़ाई पूरी करने के बाद अमर ज्योति ने सोचा कि उनके जैसे बहुत से बच्चे हैं जो पढ़ना चाहते हैं लेकिन उन्हें मौका नहीं मिलता। उन्होंने तय किया कि वे एक ऐसा स्कूल बनाएँगी जहाँ दिव्यांग बच्चे भी पढ़-लिख कर आगे बढ़ सकें।

After completing higher education, Amar Jyoti realized that many differently-abled children like herself were deprived of education and opportunity. A dream was born in her mind that she would establish an institution where children with disabilities could connect with the mainstream of society. This resolve became the direction of her life.

अमर ज्योति ने मुश्किलों के बावजूद अपना स्कूल खोला। उस स्कूल में दिव्यांग बच्चों को पढ़ाई के साथ-साथ काम सीखने का भी मौका मिलता था। धीरे-धीरे यह स्कूल बड़ा हुआ और बहुत से बच्चों की जिंदगी बदल गई।

Despite many obstacles and limited resources, Amar Jyoti established her institution, where differently-abled children received not just education but also vocational training and rehabilitation facilities. This institution, starting from a small dream, became the shelter and hope of many disabled children. The name Amar Jyoti began to shine like an inspiring lamp in the field of social service.

इस कहानी का सबक यह है कि मुश्किलें हमें रोक नहीं सकतीं अगर हम ठान लें। अमर ज्योति ने साबित किया कि हिम्मत और मेहनत से कोई भी सपना पूरा हो सकता है। उनकी ज्योति हमेशा हमें रास्ता दिखाती रहेगी।

The final message of this lesson is that the greatest victory in life is the victory of the soul. Amar Jyoti defeated the limits of her body with her courage and proved that the true flame lies not in the body but in thoughts and deeds. She is an eternal inspiration for today's generation.
