Summary
सन 1971 में भारत और पाकिस्तान के बीच युद्ध चल रहा था। भारतीय वायुसेना ने पाकिस्तान के अटक शहर में स्थित तेल की रिफाइनरी को नष्ट करने का फैसला किया। राकेश की अगुवाई में आठ वीर पायलटों को यह खतरनाक मिशन दिया गया।
In December 1971, the India-Pakistan war was at its peak. The Indian Air Force decided to destroy the oil refinery at Attock in Pakistan to cripple the enemy's war capability. Eight pilots under Rakesh's leadership were assigned the dangerous 'Mission Mashal'.
राकेश ने कहा कि यह मिशन महाभारत के चक्रव्यूह जैसा है जहाँ दुश्मन हर तरफ से घेर सकता है। इतना खतरा जानते हुए भी सभी आठों पायलटों ने हिम्मत से अपने लड़ाकू विमान उड़ाए और दुश्मन की सीमा की तरफ निकल पड़े।
Rakesh explained to his comrades that this mission was like the Chakravyuh of the Mahabharata, where they would be alone in enemy territory and would have to fight on their own strength. Despite knowing the danger, all eight heroes took off in their aircraft without fear and headed towards Pakistan.
अटक शहर के ऊपर पहुँचकर आठों पायलटों ने तेल की रिफाइनरी पर निशाना साधा। हर पायलट ने अपना टार्गेट सही से मारा, तेल के टैंक, गोदाम और इमारतें उड़ा दीं। बम गिराने के बाद भारी आग लग गई और धुएँ के बादल आसमान में छा गए।
Reaching Attock, all eight pilots targeted the massive oil refinery. Each pilot precisely bombed their designated targets, including oil tanks, storage depots and administrative buildings. After the napalm bombs and missiles struck, massive clouds of fire and smoke rose from the refinery.
मिशन खत्म होने के बाद पाकिस्तानी लड़ाकू विमानों ने उन्हें घेरने की कोशिश की। लेकिन आठों पायलटों ने बहादुरी से उनका सामना किया और अपनी चतुराई से उनसे बचते हुए सुरक्षित भारत वापस आ गए।
After completing the mission, Pakistani Sabre jets tried to surround the eight pilots. This moment was truly like a Chakravyuh, but all eight Abhimanyus skillfully and bravely faced the enemy aircraft. Using their training and quick thinking, they safely returned to Indian territory.
आठों पायलट सही-सलामत वापस आ गए, यही इस कहानी की सबसे बड़ी जीत है। महाभारत के अभिमन्यु चक्रव्यूह से बाहर नहीं निकल पाए थे, लेकिन ये आठ आधुनिक अभिमन्यु सफल होकर लौटे। इस कहानी से हमें पता चलता है कि साहस, अभ्यास और मिलकर काम करने से हर मुश्किल को जीता जा सकता है।
The safe return of all eight pilots was a great success. Unlike the Abhimanyu of the Mahabharata who could not escape the Chakravyuh, these eight modern Abhimanyus returned victorious. The story teaches that proper training, teamwork and indomitable courage together make even the seemingly impossible achievable.
