Pour trouver un travail, on fait un CV, on postule et on passe un entretien.
To find a job, you prepare a CV and a cover letter. You apply to a company, then you have an interview. If all goes well, you are hired.

Politeness with the conditional: je voudrais (I would like), j'aimerais (I would like), pourriez-vous (could you). It is used to ask politely in a letter or interview. This is the formal register.
En France, le CV fait une page ; à l'entretien, on vouvoie et on reste poli.
In France you send a short CV (one page) and a cover letter. During the interview you are polite and use "vous" with the recruiter. The SMIC is the minimum wage.
