اعتماد Aitmaad (Confidence)

भावार्थ: अहंकारी हवा बोली - तू तो बस एक ज़र्रा (धूल-कण) है, मैं तुझे यूँ उड़ा दूँगी। समंदर की मौज बोली - तू मेरे लिए बस एक झोंका है, मैं तुझे यूँ बहा दूँगी। आग की एक लपट ने कहा - मैं तुझे जला डालूँगी, और ज़मीन ने कहा - मैं तुझे निगल जाऊँगी। तब मैंने अपने चेहरे से नक़ाब उलट दी और हँसते हुए कहा - मैं सुलेमान (पैग़ंबर) हूँ, आदम की औलाद हूँ, यानी सच्चा इंसान हूँ (जिसे क़ुदरत की कोई ताक़त डरा नहीं सकती)।

Meaning: the arrogant wind said - you are but a speck of dust, I shall blow you away just like that. The raging wave of the river said - you are but a mere gust to me, I shall wash you away. A tongue of flame said, I shall burn you to ashes, and the earth said, I shall swallow you whole. Then I lifted the veil from my own face and said, laughing - I am Solomon, I am a child of Adam, truly a human being (whom no force of nature can frighten).
