अग्निपथ Agnipath (The Path of Fire)

कवि बार-बार बोलते हैं, अग्निपथ! अग्निपथ! अग्निपथ! यानी ज़िंदगी की राह आग जैसी कठिन और मुश्किलों भरी है। वे कहते हैं कि रास्ते में चाहे बड़े और घने पेड़ (मदद और आराम) खड़े हों, फिर भी तुम उनसे एक पत्ते भर की छाँव यानी ज़रा-सी मदद भी मत माँगो। अपनी ही ताकत से आगे बढ़ो।

The poet calls out again and again, Agnipath! Agnipath! Agnipath!, meaning the path of life is hard and struggle-filled like fire. He says that even if great, shady trees (sources of help and comfort) stand along the way, do not ask them for even a single leaf's shade. Move forward on your own strength alone.

कवि पक्का इरादा दिलाते हैं कि तू कभी थकेगा नहीं, कभी रुकेगा नहीं और कभी पीछे नहीं मुड़ेगा। यही कसम खाकर इस कठिन रास्ते पर चलते रहना है। अपने मकसद की तरफ़ बिना रुके बढ़ते रहना ही असली ज़िंदगी है।

The poet has us vow with firm resolve, you shall never tire, never halt, and never turn back. With this oath one must keep advancing on the hard path. To keep moving steadily toward the goal is life itself.

कवि कहते हैं कि यह कितना सुंदर नज़ारा है, एक इंसान आँसू, पसीने और खून में पूरी तरह भीगा होने पर भी इस कठिन रास्ते पर बिना रुके चलता जा रहा है! ऐसा मेहनती और हार न मानने वाला इंसान ही सबसे बड़ा है और सबको हिम्मत देता है।

The poet says what a great sight this is, a human, though wholly drenched in tears, sweat and blood, keeps walking on this path of fire! Such a striving human, who never accepts defeat, is the greatest and most inspiring of all.
