یہ ہے میرا ہندستان Yeh Hai Mera Hindustan (This is My India)

भावार्थ: यह मेरा हिन्दुस्तान है, यही मेरे सपनों की दुनिया है। मुझे इससे बेहद प्यार है।

Meaning: this is my India, this is the world of my dreams. I love it dearly.

भावार्थ: इसका जीवन हँसता-गाता है, यहाँ के मौसम धूम मचाते हैं। गंगा और यमुना की लहरों में जैसे सातों सुरों का संगीत (सरगम) बज रहा हो। ताज महल और एलोरा की गुफाएँ जैसे सुंदर तस्वीरों का एक एल्बम हों। यह है मेरा हिन्दुस्तान।

Meaning: its life is full of laughter and song, its seasons burst with celebration. In the waves of the Ganga and Yamuna there is the music of the seven notes. The Taj Mahal and Ellora caves are like an album of beautiful pictures. This is my India.

भावार्थ: बादल झूमते हैं, बारिश बरसती है, हवा के झोंके चलते हैं। धरती के फैले हुए आँगन में खेती यूँ लहराती है जैसे कोई बच्चा माँ की गोद में बार-बार मुस्कुराता हो। यह है मेरा हिन्दुस्तान।

Meaning: the clouds sway, the rain falls, gusts of wind blow. On the earth's wide courtyard the crops sway just as a child keeps smiling in its mother's lap. This is my India.

भावार्थ: राजा-रानी, गुड्डा-गुड़िया और परियों की कहानी - बच्चों के झुरमुट में बैठी बूढ़ी नानी यह सब सुनाती हैं। वे लोरी गाती हैं, ममता से माथा चूमती हैं, मानो प्यार में दीवानी हों। यह है मेरा हिन्दुस्तान।

Meaning: stories of kings and queens, dolls, and fairies - the old grandmother, surrounded by a cluster of children, tells them all this. She sings lullabies and kisses their foreheads with a mother's love, as if mad with affection. This is my India.

भावार्थ: ग़ालिब और टैगोर यहीं के थे, मीरा और कालीदास भी यहीं के हैं। यहीं गौतम बुद्ध को सच्चाई का एहसास (ज्ञान) हुआ था। यहीं सीता ने राम के साथ वनवास लिया था। यह है मेरा हिन्दुस्तान।

Meaning: Ghalib and Tagore belonged here, Mira and Kalidas too are from here. It was here that Gautam Buddha attained his realisation of truth. It was here that Sita went into exile alongside Ram. This is my India.
