संगीतसिद्धिः Mastery of music

यह पाठ बताता है कि संगीत सीखने में लड़के-लड़की में भेद नहीं होना चाहिए।

This lesson discusses gender bias in music education; the teacher shows a girl too can master singing.

संगीता हर दिन संगीत गुरु के पास जाती है। वह प्रतिभाशाली है, पर पिता केवल बेटे की गायकी चाहते हैं।

Sangeeta goes daily to her music teacher. She is talented, but her father wants only a son to master singing.

माँ कहती है, तुम अच्छी गाती हो। संगीता कहती है, पिता कहते हैं गायकी सिर्फ बेटे के लिए।

Mother encourages her; Sangeeta says father insists singing mastery is only for a son.

पिता कहते हैं, एक बेटी है, अब बेटे चाहिए गायकी परंपरा बचाने के लिए।

Father says they have a daughter already and now need a son to preserve the singing tradition.

गुरु कहते हैं, सिद्धि प्रतिभा से मिलती है, लिंग से नहीं। संगीता में अद्भुत प्रतिभा है।

The teacher says mastery follows talent, not gender. Sangeeta has remarkable gift.

संगीता पूछती है, सिद्धि मिलने पर भी पिता खुश होंगे? गुरु कहते हैं, चिंता मत करो।

Sangeeta asks if father will be pleased even if she masters singing. The teacher reassures her.

गुरु ने पिता को बुलाकर संगीता का गाना सुनाया, छह रागों में सही ताल।

The teacher summons the father and shows Sangeeta singing in six ragas with perfect rhythm.

पिता हैरान, मेरी बेटी इतना अच्छा गाती है? गुरु कहते हैं, सिद्धि संगीता में है, बेटे में नहीं।

The astonished father asks if this is his daughter. The teacher affirms mastery is in Sangeeta, not in a son.

पिता माफी माँगकर कहते हैं, अब तुम्हारी गायकी का समर्थन करूँगा। सिद्धि प्रतिभा की है, भेद की नहीं।

Repenting, the father apologises and pledges to support her singing mastery, talent, not bias, brings success.
