भावार्थ: उठो उठो, कमर कस लो - सूरज निकलने (सहर) से पहले ही चल पड़ो। दोस्तो, राह कठिन है, इसलिए थकान का नाम तक मत लो। बढ़े चलो, बढ़े चलो।

Meaning: rise up, rise up, gird your loins - set off before dawn breaks. Friends, the path is hard, so do not even mention tiredness. Keep moving forward, keep moving forward.

भावार्थ: दिल में झिझक मत लाओ, बस अब क़दम आगे बढ़ाओ। ज़रा भी मत डगमगाओ, ख़ुदा से लौ (लगन) लगाओ। न उदास हो, न बेचैन (मुज़्तरिब) हो। बढ़े चलो, बढ़े चलो।

Meaning: do not bring hesitation into your heart, simply move your steps forward now. Do not waver even a little; keep your devotion fixed on God. Do not be sorrowful or restless. Keep moving forward, keep moving forward.

भावार्थ: अगर तुमने क़दम उठा ही दिया, तो समझो सफ़र अब बस ख़त्म ही है। राह साफ़ और बेख़तर (बिना ख़तरे के) है, न कोई ख़ौफ़ है न डर। चले चलो, चलो चलो। बढ़े चलो, बढ़े चलो।

Meaning: once you have taken the first step, the journey is as good as finished. The path is clear and free of danger - there is no fear, no dread. Keep walking on, walking on. Keep moving forward, keep moving forward.

भावार्थ: तुम्हारे जो हमसफ़र (साथी) थे, वे अपनी मंज़िलों तक जा पहुँचे। तुम सबसे आगे बढ़ गए, लेकिन (इससे) तुम बड़े नहीं हुए (यानी घमंड मत करो) - ज़रा समझ से काम लो। बढ़े चलो, बढ़े चलो।

Meaning: your fellow travellers reached their own destinations. You may have moved ahead of everyone, but that does not make you great - use a little wisdom and understanding. Keep moving forward, keep moving forward.

भावार्थ: दिलों में जो जोश-ओ-जुनून (वलवला) है, उससे तुम भूचाल (ज़लज़ला) तक ला दोगे, क्योंकि तुम्हारा हौसला बुलंद है। वह पड़ाव (मरहला) सामने ही है - वहीं पहुँच कर साँस लेना। बढ़े चलो, बढ़े चलो।

Meaning: the passion and zeal in your hearts can bring about an earthquake of change, because your courage runs high. That next stage of the journey lies right ahead - only once you reach it should you pause to catch your breath. Keep moving forward, keep moving forward.
