विमानयानं रचयाम् Vimanayanam Rachayam (Let us build an aeroplane)

इस कविता में बच्चे मिलकर कागज़ का विमान बनाते हैं और कल्पना में आकाश में उड़ते हैं।

In this poem children together build a paper plane and sport imaginatively in the sky, a lesson blending creativity and science.

राघव, माधव, सीता, ललिता, आओ, विमान बनाएँ!

Raghav! Madhav! Sita! Lalita! Let us build an aeroplane.

नीले विशाल आकाश में उड़ें, ऊँचे पेड़ और मकान पार करके आकाश में जाएँ।

Let us sport in the vast blue sky, crossing tall trees and buildings to reach the heavens.

बर्फ की सीढ़ी बनाकर चन्द्रलोक में जाएँ और शुक्र, चन्द्र, सूर्य, गुरु सहित सभी ग्रह गिनें।

Making a staircase of snow, let us enter the moon-world and count all planets including Venus, Moon, Sun and Jupiter.

बादलों की माला लेकर लौटें और दुखी किसानों के घरों में खुशी लाएँ।

Let us return bearing garlands of clouds as sky-ornaments and bring joy to the homes of suffering farmers.

सब बच्चे मिलकर कागज काटते, विमान का आकार बनाते और पंख जोड़ते हैं, साथ मिलकर रचनात्मकता बढ़ती है।

All children together cut paper, shape the plane and fold wings, cooperation grows creativity.

कागज़ का विमान खेल है, पर आकाश में उड़ने की कल्पना विज्ञान का द्वार खोलती है, भविष्य में असली विमान बनेंगे।

Though a paper plane is play, the idea of flight opens the door to science, real aeroplanes will be built in future.

इस तरह बच्चे कल्पना से आकाश जाते, ग्रह देखते और वापस आते, विमान बनाएँ का मतलब सिर्फ शब्द नहीं, रचना का निमंत्रण है।

Thus children travel the sky in imagination, see planets and return, "let us build a plane" is not mere words but an invitation to create.
