Summary
जंगल में सियार और बगुला, दोस्त।
Jackal and heron lived as friends in a forest.
सियार ने कल खाने को बुलाया, थाली में खीर दी।
Jackal invited the heron for dinner and served kheer on a plate.
बगुला चोंच से न खा सका; सियार ने सब खा ली।
Heron's beak could not eat from the plate; jackal ate all.
बगुले ने पतले मुँह के कलश में खीर दी।
Cheated heron planned revenge; served kheer in a narrow pitcher.
सियार का मुँह कलश में नहीं गया; बगुले ने सब खा ली।
Jackal's mouth could not enter; heron ate all.
बुरे व्यवहार का दुःखद फल, अच्छा व्यवहार करो।
Misbehaviour brings pain; therefore treat others well.
कपटी व्यवहार बुरा; अच्छा व्यवहार सीखो।
Cunning harms friendship; good conduct is best.
