मनुष्यता Manushyata (Humanity)

कवि कहते हैं कि इंसान को एक दिन मरना ही है, इसलिए ऐसे मरो कि सब तुम्हें याद रखें। पेट तो पशु भी भर लेता है, पर सच्चा इंसान वही है जो दूसरों के लिए जिए और मरे। इसलिए मौत से डरना नहीं चाहिए।

The poet says human beings are mortal, so die such a death that everyone remembers you. Even an animal fills its own belly, but the true human is the one who lives and dies for others. Therefore one should not be afraid of death.

कवि कहते हैं कि जो लोग दूसरों की भलाई करते हैं, उन्हें दुनिया हमेशा याद रखती है। सरस्वती (विद्या) उनका गुणगान करती है और धरती उन्हें अपना भला करने वाला मानकर उनकी आभारी रहती है। ऐसे महान लोगों को सारी सृष्टि सराहती है।

The poet says the world always remembers the generous and benevolent person. Saraswati (knowledge) sings their praise, and the earth feels grateful, treating them as its benefactor. Such great souls are admired by the whole of creation.

कवि त्याग की मिसालें देते हैं: रंतिदेव ने खुद भूखे रहकर भी अपने खाने का आखिरी थाल दूसरे को दे दिया; दधीचि ने सबकी भलाई के लिए अपनी हड्डियाँ दान कर दीं; राजा उशीनर ने एक कबूतर की जान बचाने के लिए अपने शरीर का मांस दे दिया; और कर्ण ने अपना कवच दान कर दिया। कवि कहते हैं कि जब शरीर तो एक दिन नष्ट होना ही है, तो उसका मोह क्यों करना।

The poet gives examples of generosity: Rantidev, though hungry himself, gave away his last plate of food; Dadhichi gave his bones for the welfare of all; King Ushinar gave the flesh of his body to save a pigeon; and Karna gave away his armour in charity. The poet asks: when the body is perishable, why be attached to it (as the poet narrates these examples).

कवि कहते हैं कि दूसरों का दर्द समझना और उन पर दया करना ही सबसे बड़ा धन है। दया (करुणा) के कारण ही गौतम बुद्ध को सारी दुनिया आदर से सिर झुकाती है। सच्ची महानता दूसरों की सेवा और भलाई करने में है।

The poet says that having sympathy for others is the greatest wealth of all. It was because of compassion that the whole world bows to Gautam Buddha with respect. True greatness lies in serving and helping others.

कवि कहते हैं कि पैसे और दौलत पर घमंड मत करो। इस दुनिया में कोई अनाथ नहीं है, क्योंकि सबके ऊपर ईश्वर का सहारा है। जो सिर्फ अपने मतलब की चिंता में डूबा रहता है, उसे सच्चा ज्ञान नहीं मिलता।

The poet says one should not be proud of wealth. No one in this world is an orphan, for God's hand (support) is over everyone. The person who remains lost only in selfish worries stays deprived of true wisdom.

कवि कहते हैं कि जो लोग दूसरों की मदद करते हैं और उन्हें भलाई के रास्ते पर ले जाते हैं, उनके लिए देवता भी इंतज़ार करते हैं। इंसानों को एक-दूसरे की मदद करनी चाहिए, ताकि सब मिलकर आगे बढ़ सकें।

The poet says that for those who help others and lead them onto the path of welfare, even the gods wait. Human beings should help one another so that all can progress together.

कवि कहते हैं कि सब इंसान आपस में भाई हैं, यही सबसे बड़ी समझ है। ऊपर से भेद और कामों का फर्क भले हो, पर वेद कहते हैं कि सबके अंदर एक ही (परमात्मा) का अंश है, इसलिए सब एक ही पिता की संतान हैं।

The poet says all human beings are brothers, and this is the highest wisdom. There may be outward differences and differences in deeds, but the Vedas say that within all there is a part of the one (Supreme Being), so all are children of one Father.

कवि कहते हैं कि सब लोग खुशी-खुशी अपने मनचाहे अच्छे रास्ते पर आगे बढ़ें, मुश्किलों को पार करते हुए, पर आपस में मेल बनाए रखें और भेदभाव न फैलाएँ। सच्ची ताकत यही है कि खुद भी बढ़ो और दूसरों को भी साथ लेकर चलो।

The poet says let everyone move joyfully forward on the desired good path, overcoming obstacles, but keep harmony among one another and do not spread division. True capability is to advance yourself and carry others along with you.
