Summary
স্বামী বিবেকানন্দ বিদেশে ভারতের সংস্কৃতি ও ধর্মের কথা বলছেন। চিঠিতে তিনি বলেন, ভারতবর্ষের মানুষকে শক্তি অর্জন করতে হবে।
A letter from abroad urging Indians to awaken to their own strength.
তিনি বলেন: “শক্তি হল জীবন, দুর্বলতা মৃত্যু।” মানুষ যত শক্তিশালী, তত জীবন্ত। দুর্বল মানুষ জীবনের মর্যাদা হারায়।
Core teaching: strength is life, weakness is death; self-respect rests on inner and outer strength.
স্বামীজি বলেন, আমরা নিজেদের দুর্বল মনে করি, তাই অন্যের কাছে ঝুঁকি পড়ি। দাসত্বের মনোভাব ত্যাগ করতে হবে; আত্মবিশ্বাস জাগাতে হবে।
Mental servility must go; Indians must believe in themselves.
শুধু কথায় নয়, কর্মে শক্তি দেখাতে হবে। শিক্ষা, শ্রম, সাধনা - এগুলো দিয়ে জাতি উন্নত হবে।
Strength must show in action - education, labour and spiritual discipline.
চিঠির শেষে তিনি আশা প্রকাশ করেন - ভারত আবার শক্তির দেশ হবে, বিশ্বের কাছে মাথা তুলে দাঁড়াবে।
