Summary
ইন্দির ঠাকরুণ এলেন - হরিহরের চাচী, বৃদ্ধা। ঘরে এক জন বেশি, খাবার ভাগ করতে হয়।
Old aunt Indir arrives - another mouth to feed.
দুর্গা-অপু চাচীকে ভালোবাসে; গল্প শোনে, আদর পায়। চাচী শিশুদের বন্ধু।
Children love aunt Indir's stories.
সর্বজয়া চাপ অনুভব করেন - খাবার, ঘর, টাকা। চাচীর সঙ্গে মাঝে মাঝে তিক্ততা।
Sarbajaya feels strain over resources.
ইন্দির বৃদ্ধা, দুর্বল; ঠিকঠাক ঘর পায় না অন্য জায়গায়। হরিহর তাকে রাখেন।
Indir is old and has nowhere else.
চাচী থাকলে ঘর ভরে - কষ্টও, ভালোবাসাও।
