Summary
অপু আর দুর্গা ছোট। সারাদিন মাঠে, নদীর ধারে, বনে ঘুরে বেড়ায়। গ্রাম তাদের খেলার মাঠ।
Children roam village fields and riverbanks.
টুটি ফুটি, ছোটাছুটি, কল্পনার খেলা - দুর্গা বড়, নেতৃত্ব দেয়; অপু ছোট, বোনের পিছনে চলে।
Games and imagination; Durga leads, Apu follows.
মাঝে মাঝে ঝগড়া হয় - খাবার, খেলনা নিয়ে। কিন্তু রাগ থাকে না বেশি; আবার মিশে যায়।
They quarrel over toys but quickly make up.
দুর্গা অপুকে রাখে, শেখায়, রক্ষা করে। অপু বোনকে ভালোবাসে - শৈশবের সবচেয়ে গভীর সম্পর্ক।
Durga protects and teaches Apu; deep sibling love.
এই শৈশব পরে স্মৃতিতে থাকবে - সুখী দিন, গ্রামের আলো।
