स्वर्ग बना सकते हैं Swarg Bana Sakte Hain

कवि धर्मराज (न्याय के देवता) को संबोधित करते हुए कहते हैं कि यह धरती किसी एक इंसान की ख़रीदी हुई ग़ुलाम नहीं है। जन्म से इस पर रहने वाले सब लोग आपस में बराबर हैं, किसी को किसी से बड़ा या छोटा नहीं माना जा सकता। इसी बात को आगे बढ़ाते हुए कवि कहते हैं कि हर किसी को खुली, बिना रोक-टोक की रोशनी चाहिए, हर किसी को खुली हवा चाहिए, और बिना किसी रुकावट के तरक़्क़ी तथा डर-मुक्त ज़िंदगी जीने का हक़ चाहिए।

Addressing Dharmaraj (the lord of justice), the poet says that this earth is not any one person's purchased slave. By birth, all its inhabitants are equal to one another, and no one can be considered higher or lower than another. Carrying this thought forward, the poet says everyone wants free, unrestricted light, everyone wants free air, and everyone has a right to unhindered growth and a life free from fear.

इतना सुंदर आदर्श होते हुए भी कवि कहते हैं कि अभी इस रास्ते में बहुत-सी रुकावटें अड़ी हुई हैं। इंसानियत की राह को रोककर पहाड़ जैसी बड़ी-बड़ी बाधाएँ खड़ी हैं। जब तक इंसान-इंसान के बीच सही और बराबर सुख आसानी से नहीं मिलता, तब तक इस धरती पर न कहीं चैन मिलेगा और न इस ज़िंदगी में कहीं शांति मिलेगी।

Despite this beautiful ideal, the poet says that many obstacles still stand stubbornly in the way. Mountain-like barriers block the path of humanity. As long as just, equal happiness is not readily available between one person and another, there will be no comfort anywhere on this earth, nor any peace in this life.

जब तक इंसान-इंसान के बीच सुख का बँटवारा बराबर नहीं होगा, तब तक न शोर-शराबा शांत होगा और न लड़ाई-झगड़ा कम होगा। इसी बराबरी की मूल बात को भूलकर इंसान आपस में शक और डर में ही उलझ गया है, सिर्फ़ अपने बारे में और अपने ऐशो-आराम इकट्ठा करने में लगा हुआ है।

As long as happiness is not shared equally between one person and another, neither will the tumult be quelled nor the struggle lessen. Forgetting this basic idea of equality, humanity has entangled itself in mutual suspicion and fear, absorbed only in itself and in hoarding pleasures and comforts.

कवि कहते हैं कि भगवान ने दिए सुख इस धरती पर हर जगह फैले हुए हैं, ताकि दुनिया में सब उन्हें भोग सकें, पर सवाल यह है कि क्या अभी इतने बड़े दिल वाले लोग हैं, जो इन सुखों को सचमुच सबके साथ बराबर बाँटने के लिए तैयार हों?

The poet says that the happiness granted by God lies scattered all across this earth, so that everyone in the world might enjoy it - but the question is whether there are yet enough large-hearted people willing to genuinely share this happiness equally with all.

कविता का अंत उम्मीद और भरोसे से भरा है। कवि कहते हैं कि सभी लोग संतुष्ट हो सकते हैं, सभी एक जैसा बराबर सुख पा सकते हैं। लोगों को बस चाहना भर है: अगर वे चाहें, तो एक पल में इस धरती को स्वर्ग बना सकते हैं। इस तरह कविता यह भरोसा दिलाती है कि स्वर्ग कोई दूर की, नामुमकिन कल्पना नहीं, बल्कि इंसान की अपनी इच्छाशक्ति और बराबरी के बर्ताव से पाई जा सकने वाली एक असलियत है।

The poem ends filled with hope and conviction. The poet says all people could be content, all could attain the same equal happiness. All it takes is willingness: if humanity wished, it could turn this earth into heaven in an instant. Thus the poem asserts that heaven is not some distant, impossible dream, but a reality attainable through humanity's own will and equal conduct toward one another.
