9,551 real past-year questions currently in Lipi's Physics/Chemistry/Biology/Maths chapters (CBSE + ICSE board at Class 10/12, plus NEET and JEE where available), tagged by cognitive type and cross-checked chapter-by-chapter for the same underlying question re-appearing across boards/exams with different numbers.
Before question-type mix within a chapter, the more basic split: which exams are pure multiple-choice, and which require written answers. Confirmed against every question's own type tag in the underlying data (e.g. "1 mark", "4 marks · MCQ", "4 marks · Numerical").
Every question the site stores still gets a full worked solution (model_en) regardless of format — for NEET/JEE that's Lipi adding the reasoning the real exam never asks students to show, so a student can see why option (b) or the number 62 is correct, not just that it is.
Every PYQ tagged into one of five cognitive buckets, all subjects/exams combined.
Same chapter, different exam, very different test: JEE Physics is 58% numerical while NEET Physics is dominated by MCQ-format questions on the same content. Chemistry and Biology board papers lean conceptual — Biology's board paper is only 1.3% numerical.
Left: chapters where board PYQs are almost pure numerical drilling — theory alone won't carry a student here. Right: chapters that are almost entirely recall/explain — the story and theory pages carry nearly all the exam weight, worked examples matter far less.
Collapsed to the real textbook chapters a student actually sees browsing the subject hub (e.g. CBSE Class 10 Biology is exactly 7 chapters, not one row per internal sub-topic). Extra content not yet linked from a subject's main chapter list is excluded here to keep this a real chapter-by-chapter view. Filter by subject, exam, class, year, or search a chapter name. Year filter coverage: NEET and JEE are 100% year-tagged (2022–2026); CBSE board questions are only ~21% year-tagged (the rest are undated in the source data); ICSE board questions have no year tags at all yet — filtering to a specific year will understate CBSE/ICSE counts, not because those PYQs don't exist, but because their year isn't recorded.
