ਕਾਲੀ ਘੋੜੀ ਦੌੜਦੀ ਹੈ·kālī ghoṛī dauṛdī hai·the black mare runs (all feminine)
English "the black ___ runs" never changes. In Punjabi the adjective AND the verb both flip to feminine: one gender ripples through the whole sentence (ਕਾਲਾ→ਕਾਲੀ, ਦੌੜਦਾ→ਦੌੜਦੀ). Identical to Hindi (काला→काली). A deterministic agreement no monolingual English book teaches.
