Summary
A gentle young girl lives with her father, stepmother and two stepsisters, who treat her as a mere servant after her father remarries, giving her the hardest chores while she sleeps among the ashes near the fireplace, earning her the mocking nickname Cendrillon.
Central idea
Like Cinderella who keeps her kindness despite the ashes, reading a classic tale means finding the beauty hidden beneath simple language. Comme Cendrillon reste gentille malgré les difficultés, il faut rester patient en apprenant une nouvelle langue.
